Little lightbulb

Our little precious is 27-week on Valentines' Day. This Valentine's Day is very special as our princess is the little "lightbulb" :) Like the previous years, we enjoyed a sumptous and romantic dinner at NUS Guild House. Instead of KRGH, we chose the newly opened BTGH at Botanic Gardens. The service was exceptionally good! Upon seeing that I am pregnant, the waiter immediately offered to check with the chef to change one of the appetizers which contains port wine to something else.

Weight control

After our gynae warned me to watch my weight gain, I managed to control weight gain to 0.5kg this week. I swam 2 more laps than my usual 4 laps on our once-a-week swimming session every Sunday morning. We began to take long walks around our neighbourhood after dinner.

Baby shopping

We went back to Robinson Centrepoint to return the AVENT sterilizer and warmer that we bought earlier. No question asked and they refund us with credit vouchers valid for 1 year. Will continue our shopping after we complete our shopping list.

Gathering with May09 MTB

Met up with 5 other MTBs from a mummy's forum at Fish & Co. Park Mall. Very fun exchanging info on what to buy and some 2nd-time mummies shared their birth experience with us. The waiters/waitresses were fascinated by the sight of a group of preggies having dinner together :)

Life's little joy

My darling nieces, Hui & Ying, called me on Valentine's Day.

Hui & Ying : Ah Yee, what are you doing now?

Ah Yee : Am having lunch with Uncle TK @ Orchard

Hui & Ying : Did Uncle TK give you flowers?

Ah Yee : Nope, coz Ah Yee asked Uncle TK not to buy. But we give each other a hand-made card :) Did papa give mummy flowers?

Ying : Yes! Yes!

Ah Yee : Did u receive any flowers?

Ying : YES, jiejie & me received balloon flowers -- special treat for having breakfast at MacDonald on Valentine's Day :)

Ah Yee : So nice! Oohh, Uncle TK wanna to have breakfast at MacDonald but we didn't go. Else will have ballong flowers, too.

Hui & Ying : No no, they only give to children. Next year, you bring Nicole(she named our little princess) there :)

Ah Yee : Yah, next year YuanYuan will be the lightbulb when we celebrate Valentine's Day :)

Hui & Ying : Nevermind, we are lightbulb for papa and mummy, too!
